“I am Famous When Dead, creator of strange and intriguing artworks. I was born in the industrial, pottery city of Stoke on Trent, Staffordshire, England. My artworks are heavily influenced by popular culture, street art and graphic design. There are no obvious themes in my work although the reoccurring subjects of identity and social anxieties are noticeable in recent works.”​

“I was born 1980 and raised in Stoke on Trent. Interested in art from a very early age, I adopted the alias of Famous When Dead in 2005. Although self-taught as an artist, I studied graphic design and illustration up to university level. I still live in Staffordshire, England. I work full time as a CGI artist and create artwork in my home studio space.”
