Join us for an inspiring evening at Lunar Art & Wine Society, where we welcome Louise Edwards, ex pottery painter and now printer marker based in the Peak District.
Louise grew up with a mother who pained in watercolour, so it was only natural that she too would pursue an artistic career. She was introduced to printmaking by a friend’s mother when she was young but stopped when she went into the pottery industry as a painter. She returned to printing later in life after finding that painting as an occupation had diminished the joy of painting as a hobby.
Her work is inspired by the natural world and where she lives in the Peak District. Louise finds that each season provides a new aspect through which to view nature and a different feel to her life.
The evening also includes a wine tasting from the Lunar bar 🍷
